The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiritisation in collaboration with the Central Bank of the UAE has enforced the Wage Protection System in accordance with the Ministrial decree 788 of 2009. WPS is an electronic wages transfer system that oversees the payment of workers' salaries in the UAE. It ensures that UAE workers are paid the right wages or salaries (as registered on their employment contracts) and in a timely manner'
